Fujifilm has a great opportunities in spinning off its Business Innovation business unit. I believe Effissimo Capital and its power over Ricoh could facilitate an exit for Fujifilm. The Fujifilm and Konica Joint venture is really nothing and at one time it somewhat made sense for Fujifilm's Business Innovation business unit and Konica Minolta to merge. However, now that RICOH has established ETRIA it makes more sense for Fujifilm to spin off Business Innovation manufacturing to ETRIA and street distribution to Ricoh.
