The Federal Reserve has removed the limits on growth in total assets imposed on Wells Fargo in its 2018 consent order. This removal opens the door for acquisitions! It seems that Wells Fargo would be interested in acquiring GreatAmerica and I also think that GreatAmerica is ripe to be acquired based on what I see as shortcomings in GreatAmerica leadership.
